Treatment Planning and Restorations

This patient was unhappy with their dark teeth and mal-alignment. The dentist took impressions of their existing teeth and we then constructed a mock up in wax on a model to show them what could be achieved. Once the patient had approved this the dentist prepared their teeth and took impressions. After preparation the underlying tooth structure was quite dark, however we were able to mask this and improve the alignment with thin veneers. We are pleased to have another delighted patient and client.

Porcelain Fused to Metal Crown with complex shade details

This patient had lost their Upper Right Central and presented a particular challenge in matching the aesthetics with their other teeth. The communication between the dentist and the laboratory is critical and we recommend patients attend the laboratory for a Personal Shade Match with the Technician undertaking the ceramics in difficult cases. The photograph shows that with planning amazing results can be achieved.

Lava™ Crown

This young lady presented with a dark Upper Left Central Tooth. After she agreed her treatment plan with her dentist to make a Lava™ Crown the tooth was prepared and impressions taken. The strong substructure is designed using state of the art CAD / CAM technology and then milled from a tooth coloured block of zirconia. After this porcelain is built up in layers on the zirconia to match the patient’s other teeth.
